International Mass Loading Service: list of changes

List of changes in the International Mass Loading Service.

2017.07.09 Restored tidal ocean loading models FES2012 and GOT-4.8. Fixed a bug related to checking the limits for users with unlimited access.
2017.06.20 The mass loading algorithm computation was changed: now it computes all loadings at 2′ × 2′ global grid with applying sampling correction, stores the global high resolution gridded loading, expands it into 2D B-spline basis, stores the coefficients and uses this expansion for interpolation loading displacement to a given point.
Models MERRA-1, GEOS-FP, NOAH025, GOT-4.8, FES-2012 are decommissioned.
New models MERRA-2, GOT-4.10c, and FES-2014b are included.
4th generation.

2014.06.17 Support of ocean tidal loading using GOT-4.8 and FES2012 models was added.
3rd generation.

2014.04.04 Support of non-tidal ocean loading using OMCT05 model was added 3rd generation.

2013.06.01 Support of land water storage using MERRA-1, GEOS-FPIT and NOAH025 models was included. The atmospheric model NCEP Reanalysis-1 is decommissioned. The atmospheric pressure loading service now uses MERRA-1, GEOS-FPIT, and GEOS-FP models. Loading on-demand computation is provided. The atmospheric pressure loading service is moved to massloading.net
3rd generation.

2005.01.24 The service now includes the atmospheric contribution to geopotential was established.
2nd generation.

2002.12.12 The atmospheric pressure loading service is established. NCEP Reanalysis-1 model is used. Originally it was called Goddard atmospheric pressure loading service.
